Little Compton, Rhode Island - Peggotty - Art Boat Thing

The artist studio of Sidney Burleigh. Peggotty is a boat that he turned into a thatched-roof studio, complete with doors and windows. It was not intended as a "houseboat." It is currently sheltered at the Wilbor House on West Main Road in Little Compton, RI. [L Deaett, 12/29/2008]

[RA: Sydney Burleigh, who's been dead since 1931, was an artist famous for his watercolor paintings. Peggotty was built around a sailboat, and it's displayed today by the Little Compton Historical Society. It's no landlocked house-boat, but might be worth investigating...]
