In 2013 eight additional Hans Christiansen Andersen story sculptures were added to the park, designed and sculpted by Omaha artist Troy Muller. There is also now the addition of one of the Freedom Rocks that are part of a statewide project. The rock that represents Audubon County is in the park adjacent to the Little Mermaid.

I am happy to report that the Little Mermaid is going strong! I was a little bummed that the fountain wasn't on but that might be because I visited in November. I also passed through at night and the rest of the town was a little creepy.
