According to a story in Maryland Community News, the terrifying Brookeville angel has "deteriorated beyond repair" and will possibly be moved indoors, but is definitely gone from the grounds of Brookeville Academy.

Brookeville Angel

It used to be at the house near the corner of Georgia Ave and Brookville Rd, but they took it down. Don't have any idea where it is now. There's still a sign telling what it is though. There was no one to tell us where it went. Too bad, because I've lived here my whole life and never saw it.
