Roanoke, Virginia: Big Comb (Gone)

"In A Tangle" - Los Angeles sculptors Joshua Howell and Kagan Taylor/Popup Design's whimsical bike rack. Constructed of dense tropical wood, a black metal tube weaves between the teeth to resemble a giant hair. Part of a series of humorous public art bike racks in Roanoke.

Directions:
Stands outside Valley Bank on Grandin Road. Near the corner of Grandin Road SW and Memorial Ave. SW.

The road around the former bank is all ripped up and under construction. Local guy told us the big comb art piece was replaced with a rent-a-bike stand.
