I talked to some employees at the cemetery. I was told that the head is in storage, as the park is planning on rebuilding the pedestal (It was crumbling and a danger to people). They had no idea when it will be completed.
[Alex B., 07/05/2016]Unfortunately, John Adams' head is lonely no more: it's gone from its brick pedestal. And the pedestal is gone too.! I have reached out to Fort Adams to find out its fate and whether or not it has found another home. No response as of yet.
