Silver Spring, Maryland - Acorn Gazebo If James Lehman reads this I would like to see/read proof that the actual spring site is under the Blair Mill Towers as he states!
On the contrary, the actual "silver" spring site, discovered by Francis Preston Blair, Sr. in 1840, is located directly next to the circa 1850 (giant) Acorn Gazebo. [Jerry A. McCoy, 08/03/2009]
