Mrs. Needham Whitfield is entombed in an aboveground crypt, and is said to be seated in her rocking chair -- or at least that's what they tell every kid in town. The tomb is surrounded by an ornate iron fence. Other interesting gravestones include one depicting a woman engulfed in flames (she burned to death after her dress caught on fire).
