Architectural DNA is an art installation by Fitzsimmons Architects of Oklahoma City. It is the original spiral staircase fire escape from the historic (1909) Marion Hotel across the street, which is currently being renovated into apartments. The spiral staircase was salvaged from the city's Marion Hotel. On its 110th birthday (2014) it was hauled aloft to begin a career as public art. Because of the staircase's spiral shape, the artwork was named "Architectural DNA."
