Helicopter In a Cornfield
Heading south on S. Sandbar Rd. a Vietnam era helicopter (Bell UH-1) appears to be coming out of a cornfield. As you pull up, you will see it is part of a War Memorial outside American Legion Post 1019. Flags representing all branches of U.S. Armed Forces and a missile (model unknown) make up the remainder of the memorial. Worth a look, especially if you're only in the area for the Smiley Face Tower in nearby Aroma Park!
