Impaled Vampire and FeeJee Mermaid

No longer there any more. Even last two exhibitions are gone!

[Jeremy Cormier, 04/15/2023]

The vampire and mermaid, along with their fellow horrors, have moved to the First Call Paranormal and Oddities Museum in Havre De Grace, Maryland, which will open later in 2023.

Impaled vampire.

Dr. Gloom's Crypt of Curiosities

About 98 percent of Dr. Gloom's stuff has been moved out and is currently in storage. But the proprietor of the next-door Protean Books and Records excitedly revealed to us, "I have the best two pieces!" -- those two being a Fiji Mermaid and a skeletal vampire with a stake through its heart. The store also has vintage books, albums, and plenty of pop culture awesomeness.

Dr. Gloom's Crypt of Curiosities

Tucked into the back room of Protean Books and Records is Dr. Gloom's Crypt of Curiosities, an oddities exhibit in the tradition of American Dime Museums.

[Matthew Benicewicz, 03/07/2018]

Unsurprising if a few of its exhibits might have even come from Baltimore's long-closed American Dime Museum.
