Geographic Center of North Dakota In honor of its location near the geographical center of ND, McClusky ND
has erected a monument that would make Valentine, NE eat its heart out. In
a park in the middle of town, they have set two large cane-shaped steel beams
in cement to form a giant heart.
Just makes me wonder, as the geographical center of North Dakota, the town of McClusky must truly be in the "Middle of Nowhere." [Nathan L. Forrider, 10/06/2002]
