- North central Oklahoma.From I-40 in OKC head north on Hwy 81 through Enid, OK to Hyw. 64. Go west to Jet. Entrance to crystal digging is several miles from Jet and the main area of the park, on the west side of the Salt Plains.

Great Salt Plains The crystal digging area is open again after being closed for a time. Bring a bucket of water and a shovel and get ready to face harsh sun and strong winds as you dig.
We were there digging for a couple of hours and didn't encounter another person the entire time. The kids went nuts with visiting this unique landscape and discovering buried treasure. A truly adventurous experience. [Eric Bolstridge, 05/01/2010]
