Important Civil War Bullet Holes

There are two bullet holes on the side of a building that are from the civil war. They are both historically significant because they are from Corbitt's Charge, which was a key turning point in the Civil War. There is a historic marker about Corbitt's Charge and the bullet holes are marked with a sign on the wall. Good spot for the history buffs....the historical society is not far away along with a cemetery filled with Civil War vets. [Robert Ryder, 12/14/2003]
