Lighthouse Nowhere Near Water On U.S. 6, an alternative to I-80 between Omaha and Lincoln, there is a place called Linoma Beach, which features a little lake, a restaurant, and so forth. This place is easily found due to the large mock-up of a lighthouse beside the road out front. The lighthouse has the word "LINOMA" painted vertically on it, and is one of the more interesting manmade sites between Omaha and Lincoln. [Don Fraysier, 07/09/1999]
