Life-size elephant statue had previously been painted yellow (to sync with a now closed phone store), with giraffe markings, with zebra stripes, and like an American flag.

- Stands in front of a defunct Yello Wireless store. On the west side of Hwy 21/US 431, at the corner of East L St. On the south edge of Anniston, two miles north of I-20 exit 185.

The elephant, originally yellow, arrived as the mascot of a Yello Wireless store. It survived the store's demise, sporting a succession of crazy painted patterns. We hope it found a good home.
