Holly Ridge, North Carolina - Souvenir Shop Gator Near Surf City, I saw a variation on the old enter-the-souvenir-shop-through-the-shark's-mouth gag. This one has souvenir seekers enter through an alligator's jaws. Obviously not as big as Swampy or the Kissimmee Gator, but maybe this is the 3rd largest gator? It looks new, but there were also some closed and battered attractions nearby, like a decrepit pirate-themed miniature golf course. [Dean Jeffrey, 01/16/2005]
