Charles Manoog, a plumber, pays homage to his industry with a collection of old water heaters, sinks, pipes, bathtubs, and toilets found in the homes of New England. One highlight: a rare urinal designed for women. Currently closed; future status uncertain.

- I-90 exit 17 (Newton/Watertown) toward Watertown. At the junction of Galen St. and Hwy 20, turn left onto Main St./Hwy 20. Follow Main St. for a just over one mile and turn left onto Rosedale Rd. The Plumbing Museum is at the end of the street on the left, adjacent to the corporate headquarters of J.C. Cannistraro.

The plumbing museum has moved! It is now in Watertown, MA and will reopen in the fall of 2008. Their new website is www.theplumbingmuseum.org

Charles Manoog, a plumber, has paid homage to his industry with this collection, started in the 1950s by his father. In 2008, Manoog, 74, donated the entire collection to the Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors of Greater Boston; they will open a new museum in Watertown, MA by may 2008.
