Cowtopia: Minigolf with Cows

Mark Cline, creator of Foamhenge, built Cowtopia in 2014. It's a miniature golf course on an old dairy farm, and the owner of the property envisioned a dairy theme. Mark wanted to use cows as golf hazards -- but what can you do with cows? "Cows are the most boring animals on the planet," Mark told us, but perhaps, he thought, cows only look boring on the outside. Maybe cows on the inside have wild fantasies. The place to act them out would be a paradise named Cowtopia.

Mark was excited about the project because it gave him the opportunity to express his passion for goofy art and bad jokes. He sculpted an astronaut cow in a rocket headed for the Milky Way; a milk train with a carton cow-boose and a milk tank water tower; and a "Bovine Mooseum" inside an oversized milking pail. There are acrobat cows in the Mos-cow Circus (Cline is himself a skilled unicycle performer), and Mark's favorite cow creation, an Evel Cow-nievel on a motorcycle jumping chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry milk cows.
