- Loxahatchee, Florida - Lion Country Safari
In a remote area, far west of Loxahatchee, there's this cage-less zoo where you can see full-grown lions literally brush up against your car. You can also see monkeys relaxing in hammocks and chairs made from recycled materials. This is a low-key, family owned attraction, but totally worth the drive out to Twenty Mile Bend to see. Cool place!

The little RV has the same paint job as when we lasted visited, avocado green, now more faded and rusting. But somewhat reminiscent of New Mexico's favorite rolling meth lab -- the signature yellow and orange striped 1986 Fleetwood Bounder RV.
