- In a rest area on the south side of I-10, just west of Las Cruces and just east of the Picacho Ave. exit, between mileposts 134 and 135. Only accessible from the eastbound lanes. Visible from I-10 westbound.

The rest area at mile 135 eastbound has access to the sculpture, as well as an amazing vista of city and surrounding mountain range. Bathrooms were clean, dog relief area, and beautiful stone picnic structures make this a great stop!
[Jennifer, 07/28/2020]Not only is the Recycled Roadrunner worth a stop, but the rest area has covered picnic tables with a view. Also, the restrooms are clean!
