Hang 10, dude! A gnarly, larger-than-life VW hippie bus -- with a surfboard on the roof and "Make Love not War" painted on its side -- appears to have crashed through the outside wall of a truck stop. It's actually the main entrance to the building; you walk through the side door of the VW to enter.

Someone finally made it past Joe's Truck "Stop" and directly into the adjacent house, in January 2013.
[D. Langdon Jones, 01/19/2013]It looks like the vehicle may have just grazed the edge of the Truck Stop before plowing into the house. The property clearly has feng shui issues.

Joe's wall kept truckers from crashing into his house from 1959, when he built it, until late 2012, when a truck hit the wall at an angle, slid along it, and still had enough momentum when it reached the end to continue into Joe's former home (He had died years earlier). Despite this and many previous crashes, Joe's Truck Stop has survived even though his house has not.
