The International Vinegar Museum is in an old school gym. One wall is covered with vinegar bottles from around the world. The center area has historical and fun facts, and the back has a tasting bar. Who knew there were so many flavors of vinegar? Blueberry, strawberry, toasted almond, lime, blood orange, on and on.
Our son said he wanted to go buy vanilla ice cream so he could put raspberry vinegar on it!

The International Vinegar Museum contains displays of vinegar from all over the world and products, including paper, made from vinegar. The tour includes taste testing of vinegar (sugar cubes provided). There is an annual Vinegar Festival, and a vinegar website: www.vinegarman.com.
Roslyn, SD's other claim to fame is that it was Myron Floren's (of Lawrence Welk Show fame) hometown. [Floren's house was moved to Webster, SD]

Opened in 1999, the museum is curated by the friendly and knowledgeable "Vinegarman," Lawrence J. Diggs. According to the promo lit, "With over 2500 Square feet of space, which includes a large research kitchen, the International Vinegar Museum is set to be a beacon and a magnet for vinegar fans around the world."
