$25 entry fee to even just stop and take a quick pic. Not worth it unless you plan on sticking around and hiking.

- Walnut Canyon National Monument. From Flagstaff drive east 4.5 miles on I-40. At exit 204, drive south on Walnut Canyon Rd three miles to the visitor center.

The original sign has been covered up with a new sign. So... not only is it not the original tree, it's not even the original sign.

- Directions:
- North side of the city. From US Hwy 180/N. Fort Valley Rd turn west at the Shell station onto W. Navajo Rd. Drive one block. At the stop sign turn left onto Hopi Drive/ N. Bonito St., then immediately turn right onto N. Thorpe Rd, then immediately turn left into the parking lot. Park as close to the big building as you can. The tree is along the back side of the big building (right side when viewed from the parking lot), between the building and a pond. It's a stunted evergreen; the wooden Moon Tree sign is next to it, mounted on a short pole.

Classic Route 66 attraction. Was an oddities museum; currently a bar and dance floor. Displayed documents up by the front tell the history.

- The Museum Club. On the north side of Route 66, which is on the north side of I-40, about a mile west of exit 201. Just west of the Starlite Lanes bowling alley.
Louie the Lumberjack is still available for photo ops right next to the box office at the Walkup Skydome.

- J. Lawrence Walkup Skydome. I-40 exit 195 onto I-17, then quick first right exit onto McConnell Drive. The Walkup Skydome will be on your right; the Muffler Man stands just outside the entrance.

State of the art in the 1890s. Bankrolled by Percival Lowell, a millionaire who believed that Mars had canals and wanted to see for himself. Also here, the Pluto telescope and Lowell's glass-domed mausoleum.
