Barrel of Fun Ice Cream Stand This ice cream shop has been around in Louisville since the early 1990's at least. I've been going to it for about 10 years now. Not sure how old the giant barrel they use is but it could date back to 1930's or '50's. They offer hard and soft serve ice cream, as well as banana splits, shakes, third pound KY black angus hamburgers, barbeque and hot dogs/chili dogs. [Sean Meredith, 08/20/2010]
