Castle Blood We are a Halloween attraction in southwestern, PA open during the month of October only. Our decorations stay up year round, so we are pretty visible from the road (Victorian-era house with large gargoyles on the roof, skeletons on the porch, and hearses in the driveway) and something of a local landmark. We are very different from the usual "crank and "boo" haunt -- we have Hollywood-quality costumes and sets, and an interactive "game" format.
Tours take about 1/2 hour each, and groups of 8 launch every 3 minutes. If the family is looking for something a little "different" to do for the Halloween season, we might be a good option.
[Karen L. Dick, 07/24/2008]Castle Blood has been on historic Rt 40 since 1993. One of the weird landmarks in a 15 mile radius.
It is open for tours in October, but the outside is decorated all year round with skulls and gargoyles everywhere.
They film a TV show there the rest of the year.
