Chattanooga, Tennessee: Head of the Sugar Flat Road Creature

Two local teens said they ran over this creature with a pickup truck in 1989. Only its head was preserved. The head disappeared for years, reappeared in 2021, vanished again in 2023. Only a hologram of the head remains on public view.

Legend of Sugar Flat Road

The intriguing "Head of the Creature" still sits in the window of Cuz's Antiques! The entire store is filled with beautiful antiques and oddities. My children and I went Sunday to check out the Head and wound up spending 2 hours looking around in the shop. I am going to take all of my out-of-town guests there from now on.

Head of a Man Creature

A thoughtful wanderer sent us a brochure for an antique store. The most valuable item there is the head of an unidentified man-creature ("The Legend of Sugar Flat Road, as seen on Hard Copy and Strange Universe"). On a January night in 1987, two local teens crashed their pickup truck into a creature. Sightings persist, but the head can be viewed during normal business hours at Cuz's Antique Center, 140 Public Square, intersection of Hwy 70 and Hwy 231.

Cave Man Head

Check out the Cave Man head at Cuz's Antique store on the square in Lebanon. Cuz's has on display what appears to be a half boy, half animal skull...all hairy and werewolf looking. Not sure even if Cuz knows what it is...other than a way to get people in his store. Cuz's Antique Center, 140 Public Square, Lebanon, TN 37087 (615) 444-8070
