Aurora, Texas: Space Alien Buried Here

The grave marker has been stolen yet again, but with the help of an internet search I found the location. Take the last entrance into the cemetery, and just a very short way up, you'll see a large oak tree just to the right of the road with a very crooked low-hanging branch, which hangs directly over the burial site. Disappointing...but still worth a quick trip off the highway if you want a sad-face pic of yourself standing on the burial spot. Hopefully the stone will be replaced by the time you visit!

The unmarked grave is no longer unmarked. We went to Aurora to find the legendary spaceman's gravesite and crash location. After walking through the cemetery for a while, we found a new, small gravestone with a picture of a spaceship carved on it.

The gravestone is located in the southwest part of the cemetery to the right of the road and before the Bledsoe marker, among the older gravestones from the late 1800s. This was the exact location that was discovered by the UFO Hunters during their investigation in 2008. This stone must have been put there since 2008 because during the UFO Hunters investigation, there was no gravestone due to the original being stolen in the late 1970s.

I went there looking for the Alien grave site, but it was nowhere to be found. No Patrick Swayze, either. I did find "Loreta the World's Talking Bird." If you like old cemeteries, this one does not disappoint. A lot of very old graves, some dating back to the 1850s. It was well worth the country drive.

Tonight we went to see where the Pilot of the UFO wreck was buried. The historical marker was still there telling the story. We looked around and couldn't find a grave. There was however, a gravestone with Patrick Swayze's picture on it ( located in the south-west corner of the cemetery). After some inspection we decided to ask some of the resident's what they knew about it. The kid in the house across the street said he was a hoax -- that "some kids were messing around burying stuff." We also asked an old lady what she knew about it. She said that it was a hoax as well. She informed us that at one point there was an unusual rock that identified where the Alien was buried, but it had been stolen.

According to conspiracycafe.com, on June 2, a postal worker traveling on County Rd. 3673 in Wise Country, TX narrowly avoided a wreck when fleeing deer bolted across his path....
