World's Largest Caterpillar
The real destination is the Monolithic Dome Research Neighborhood this thing is a part of! I found that to be very cool! I didn't care much about the caterpillar.

Don't even have to stop for a great picture of this oddity. Great if you are riding with a non-stopper. Save your "must see" for something else, but still get a cool pic!

Biggest I've ever seen -- 60 ft. wide, 350 ft. long, 22 ft. tall. Right on I-35, 45 miles south of Dallas, TX, exactly at Italy, , mile marker 386. Is seven domes merged together, formed by sprayed concrete over a balloon -- the national home of Monolithic Dome Industries.
