The Golden Chariot is actually bronze.[Roaming Rover (Find me on Facebook), 02/21/2013]
We'd assumed it was fiberglass painted gold, so the bronze revelation means this sculpture is worth, hmmm....
I've stopped at this place, as the owner in the "antique store" behind it sells used industrial equipment. This big statue is also for sale, for a few hundred thousand dollars.[Geek Goddess, 02/21/2013]
A couple hundred grand? Wow, even more than the Trigger Finger of Pancho Villa, for sale elsewhere in Texas.
This is an update on the "lost" Golden Chariot, previously listed in Katy, Texas. I spotted the chariot while driving eastbound on I-10 on July 1, 2012. The chariot is currently displayed in front of an antique shop just east of Sealy, Texas.[SuperVickie, 07/09/2012]
Saw the Golden Chariot off the I-10 recently covered in Christmas lights![houstonjenne, 01/01/2011]

Removed from this location. New location unknown.[Bret Lamb, 03/06/2010]
Mobile Tipster Kim reported in early February: "Someone was working on it when we passed." Guess the work was to move it. Hope it turns up in public view again!
