Golden Chariot Removed from this location. New location unknown. [Bret Lamb, 03/06/2010][RA: Mobile Tipster Kim reported in early February: "Someone was working on it when we passed." Guess the work was to move it. Hope it turns up in public view again!]
Golden Chariot Saw this giant Golden Man on a Chariot in Katy, Texas. It is beside an abandoned looking grain mill complex with a lot of other more normal "surplus" looking equipment. There is a business with a bunch of normal yard-art for sale not far away that it may be connected to. Was about 7:30 pm when we discovered the "Gold Man," so no people around to ask about this apparition. Also noticed a neat old restored depot and caboose further west on Hwy.90, would be worth checking out if in the area while they were open. [Kevin Matthews, 08/01/2007]
