Suburban Home Replica of Graceland

My wife and I made a little side trip off of the I-4 and found the Graceland Replica easily. It looks a lot like the real Graceland house, which my wife has visited. The roof may have been one of the only differences. The house needed a little work, but it was being lived in. There was a long limo out front and one other vehicle. The musical note iron gate was opened almost as if to welcome visitors (but remember this is a private home). [Rick, 06/06/2011]

We just visited the house and it is still there; but, the gates are falling off and the yard is not maintained. It looked like someone was planning a party because there was one of those big blown up jumping houses for kids in the back yard. [P. Weaver, 09/18/2009]

ELVIS LIVES: this is great! House is in beautiful condition, the grounds are a little overgrown, But you can see the new owners of two months are TCB. I had the courage to ring the door bell and talk to a nice woman, who didn't know anything about Roadside America (we filled her in). We didn't get to see in the house, except the staircase (which is on the right instead of left). The gates are in beautiful working condition and the house even had its own limo out in front. I don't know how I missed this one in my own backyard but you can bet I'll be driving out to see it this weekend. It's a replica Graceland mansion built 20 years ago in Orlando, complete with guitar shaped swimming pool, shag carpeting, and entrance gates just like the real one. Currently for sale at $550,000, the mansion has seven bedrooms and two three car garages. [Bob Cara, 08/18/2000]

The yard was overgrown, but the decorative gates and front of the house were still very nice. It appears the new owners are making attempts to restore the place to its original beauty. " ]
