The soda cans are next to a decent gas station with a Carl's Jr. We stopped for a quick break, and my son enjoyed checking out the cans. They don't smell the greatest, but a good photo-op nonetheless.[April N, 09/29/2013]
The giant cans are apparently fuel or oil storage tanks. It doesn't smell that great if you're downwind, and standing close means walking across some sticky substance on the asphalt parking lot.

There are 4 giant soda cans in the parking lot of a Super 8 motel in Salina, UT right off of I-70: a 7-Up, a Dr Pepper, Diet Pepsi and Pepsi. They're gigantic, nearly as tall as the motel sign.[Ryan, 05/29/2009]
