Fall Creek Park is a beautiful spot, but it's also rather large, and the marker is impossible to find if you don't know where to look. It can NOT be seen from your car. (I had to enlist the help of a local cop on his lunch break to point me in the right direction.)
As you drive along the main park roadway, you'll see the small Pendleton Historical Museum right against the road. Park your car in that parking lot, and behind the bldg. you'll see walkways to a small footbridge that crosses Fall Creek. On the other side of that bridge, in the grass just behind a tree, is the marker. It's no more than a 2-3 minute walk from your car.
