Warterfall Garden Park. Birthplace of UPS

A plaque on the ground tells of the history of the original UPS office, just outside Waterfall Garden Park in Pioneer Square.

[Jon Nadeau, 06/17/2011]

United Parcel Service was started in 1907 by two young men as American Messenger Service. The first office was located under a saloon in what is now Waterfall Garden Park, a somewhat hidden walled pocket park, built to remember those early package delivery boys.
