Coastal defense complex of tunnels, structures and redoubts, built 1839-1844. Was restored and reopened in 1980. Visitor center and daily tours.

Fort Barrancas was one of four forts built to protect the Pensacola Navy Yard; visitors can tour the tunnels and grounds of the fort. Make sure to wear comfortable walking shoes.
