Don't miss this one! Built in 2005 by Ken Gibson for his great uncle, Dave Sharp. Dave's wish had been to one day own a red covered bridge. He would recount memories of sneaking a kiss in an old covered bridge.
It spans the Big Spring Fork of Elk River, a very small waterway. You can walk through the bridge (oak floor) to the other side, to a private road for farm vehicles.[A.J. Lewis, 08/13/2011]
And if you don't kiss someone while on the bridge, misfortune will befall you. We made that up, but this attraction could use a vaguely threatening tradition to stay on our radar....
