Cagle Castle.

Cagle Castle

A fairly impressive castle built in about the last place you'd expect to come across one; it's a private residence, so please stay on the sidewalk when taking photos. Replete with turrets, a moat and 3 drawbridges, it is surrounded by a spike-topped iron fence. At both entry gates, over-sized garden-style gnomes are perched atop the taller stone columns.

The moat is a continuation of the back yard swimming pool, making it possible to swim laps around the house. The front entrance has a small drawbridge, and in back are two garages with the drawbridges serving as the garage doors.

For ease of picture-taking, the side street to the north of the property, Cagle Road, has a gravel turn off so you can park for a few minutes without blocking traffic or using anyone's private driveway.
