A castle seemingly transported from Medieval Europe is the location of the yearly Tennessee Renaissance Fair. It's also the castle-builder's home.

- East of Triune. Hwy 840 exit 42. Drive north on US Hwy 31 for less than a mile. Turn right onto Hwy 96/Murfreesboro Rd. Drive 2.5 miles. Turn left onto New Castle Rd. Drive a third of a mile. Turn right onto gravel driveway (black mail box). Drive a third of a mile to the castle.

Worth checking out inside the castle. The castle isn't on the fairgrounds -- it's about a five minute bus ride. Can been seen from 840.

It's an impressive-looking castle. Pity it's not open more than a couple of weekends a year.
