Happened upon this by chance on the way through town. It's a wood-carved catfish, maybe about six feet long and painted blue. Easy to spot right on the side of the highway in the middle of town. Floodwood bills itself as the "Catfish Capital of the World."
[BS Meyer, 05/23/2013]The carved plaque in front of the catfish reads, "In memory of Joseph T. Karpik." We would guess that he was a man, not a fish.
