Tampa, Florida: Mothers of the World Monument (Gone)

Erected by a Cuban-American fraternity lodge in 1948, and features a statue of a mom and her three kids. "Honor to Mothers of the World." Disappeared when the building was sold in 2018.

Directions:
North side of downtown. On the northeast corner of Hwy 45/ N. Nebraska Ave. and E. 11th Ave., outside the former German-American Club, which has its own historical marker.
Hours:
Disappeared in 2018.

I believe this monument has been removed. I drove and walked around the entire block and building and I didn't see it.

The monument is currently undergoing restoration. The city plans to have it back on display by Mothers' Day 2022, somewhere, but not at this old location.

Free parking next door in a city owned lot. The Mothers of the World Monument is right next to the German American Club historic building.
