Arizona Falls

There are steps now and no slippery sewer pipe. It's beautiful and combines art, history and technology. A footbridge connects the north bank to the viewing platform. It is lighted at night. Sitting on large boulders, surrounded by waterfalls on three sides, is amazing.

Arizona Falls

Sure, Venezuela has Angel Falls, and Buffalo shares Niagara Falls with Canada. What's the thrill there? Those places actually have water. What's really impressive is a waterfall in the desert. Made possible by untreated canal water and the power of the Salt River Project, Phoenicians can proudly claim Arizona Falls as our answer to those showy waterfalls. Step through the recycled sewage pipe and down a short flight of stairs and marvel at all 20 feet of this modern marvel (slippery when wet)!

Not content to be just another pretty face, Arizona Falls is also a hydroelectric plant.
