A roadside tree that vaguely resembles a donkey head. Don't touch; it's cursed.

Directions:: From Springfield drive north on Hwy 55/Bloomfield Rd. Just past the nursery on the left, turn left onto Valley Hill Rd. The tree is on the left, just past the little one lane bridge.

Passerby said [feeding the Donky Tree] an apple reverses the curse. Not sure about that. No parking, and it's a one-lane road. Watch for poison ivy.

The Donkey Tree is still there. We found it and actually thought it looked like the Star Wars character Jar Jar Binks. [Kent and Lynn, 04/05/2016]

The Donkey Tree

Apparently what I thought was the "donkey tree" isn't. Not sure it is still here. Quite a lot of debris and such. Many trees have lost limbs and the area looks rough. In passing the road to the left the first time, I found a shrine less than 1/2 a mile away, Valley Hill Shrine, reputed site of a miraculous 1995 visitation by the Virgin Mary.

There is a tree in Kentucky called the Donkey Tree. It looks just like a donkey and some believe it is haunted.

The tree somewhat resembles the big muzzle and ears of a donkey head. The usual dark tales swirl around it: an owner who was cursed after beating his donkey, people dying who touch the tree, etc.
