Gold records.

George Jones Museum

The museum is in the middle of a busy street in Nashville; lots of restaurants and fun. We met the widow of George Jones when we were there. The place is great if you love country music. You pay and take the elevator up to the museum. Lots of music playing and video to watch. At the end there is also a great view, by the bathrooms, of the river and football stadium.

George Jones loved football -- the museum has an exhibit about that -- so he might enjoy the view.

Big Rocking Chair photo op.

George Jones Museum

The museum is just a few weeks old. It has a gift shop, bar, and cafe on the 1st floor. The museum is located on the 2nd floor. It has a little bit of everything. Like his parents marriage license and his birth certificate, childhood photos, his guitars, awards, and handwritten notes and letters. Very interesting. There is a rooftop BBQ grill on the 4th floor with an awesome view. There is also a large rocking chair for photo ops. Plus you get free samples of George Jones moonshine and vodka if you're 21 years old.
