Buffalo, New York: Giant Head: Not MLK
Eight feet tall, unveiled Oct. 1983. Looks out over a park that bears Martin Luther King's name. Sculpted by John Wilson, who was criticized for making a giant head with zombie eyes that doesn't look like MLK. Supporters say it was never supposed to look like MLK.

- Directions:
- Northeast side of the city. Hwy 33/Kensington Expy exit onto Best St. Drive east a half-mile, then turn left at the stoplight onto Fillmore Ave. Make first right into parking lot. The head is back by the trees, at the semi-circular plaza, and can be difficult to see despite its size.
