Starlight Movie-Themed Motel
Definitely a cool place to watch drive-in movies. Well maintained and clean.
[Howard, 05/01/2016]Starlight Inn and Sunset Drive-in Movie Theatre
This is a cool place to stay and watch a movie or two. The rooms are classy and very clean.
[Howard, 09/27/2015]This kitschy-ish motel has been awesomely refurbished, with each room paying tribute to a different movie star (alas, we were stuck in the room inspired by crazy couch jumper and famed Scientologist Tom Cruise; the Marilyn Monroe room was right next door). The rooms are immaculate, as well as remarkably quiet. There is a little gazebo at the end of the row of rooms that is lit up at night.
Immediately next door is the Sunset Drive-In, with four screens. They have double features on Friday and Saturday nights. If you stay at the hotel, you get in free to the drive-in! All movies were new releases. I think only one movie screen was... Kind of viewable from our room, but there are instructions for which radio station to tune into for movie audio in every room. Not sure if different rooms can see different screens.
