Jerome, Idaho: Minidoka Internment Camp
Former Japanese-American interment camp. Not much remains, but there is one former barracks, a rebuilt guard tower, and a walking trail with signs. Bring water; wear sturdy shoes.

- Minidoka National Historic Site. I-84 exit 182. Drive north on Hwy 50, which turns into Hwy 25, for 7.5 miles. Turn right onto Hunt Rd. Drive 2.5 miles. You'll see the guard tower and small parking lot on the right. If you want to walk the loop trail, wear sturdy shoes and bring water.
