Dedham, Massachusetts - Museum of Bad Art - Branch Gallery The Museum of Bad Art in Dedham, MA has opened a second branch at the Somerville Theater in Davis Square, Somerville, MA 02144 [Bishoi, 07/26/2008]
Dedham, Massachusetts - Museum of Bad Art Went to the MOBA in Dedham, MA after dinner next door at Isebella's. It is
in the community theater where there are a few paintings in the lobby, but the vast majority of creative art (15 or more) are downstairs in the basement on the way to the men's room. This viewing room, with it's stark concrete walls and floor, seems suitable for seeing such art. Works include "Sunday on the pot with George,""Pablo Presley," and the heart
wrenching "Pals" showing a clown and his monkey. Free admission and the lobby sells T shirts
and postcards of some of the art besides popcorn and bon bons. [Carl & Anne Ambrose, 10/30/2002]
Dedham, Massachusetts - Museum of Bad Art Located in the basement of the local movie theatre, the Museum of Bad Art (MOBA) is a much-needed salute to Salvation Army Salvadore Dalis. The only part of this museum that is more genius than its very existence is the descriptions of the painting themselves. Only bummer: They were out of catalogs when I went but I got the Pablo Presley t-shirt and some notecards! It truly is "Art too bad to be ignored." [Kathleen Kotcher, 11/12/1998]
