Gatorland This 60+ years old attraction is a must-see for Florida residents and tourists. Clean, relaxed, and nicely updated, it's a great opportunity to see and learn about alligators, crocodiles, and Florida birds and snakes. The zip-line is thrilling and very safely run. There's a splash park and playground for kiddoes. The shows are fun, too.

Gatorland This is a great trip even for adults! As a non-native of Florida, and my nearest run-in with gators being on the Discovery Channel, this park allowed for a very close and informed tour. Also of note are the many birds --ibis, cranes, swans and even flamingoes! For the older crowd there is a night tour that I didn't take, but seemed worth checking out.
[Slumlord, 10/18/2011]Gatorland is great, but you gotta see the bird sanctuary in May. Call the park for details. The "show" is unbelievable!
