Saloon-smasher Carry A. Nation began her destructive career here in late 1900. Her statue holds a Bible in one hand and a whackin' hatchet in the other.

Carry Nation Statue

The Carry Nation statue is in downtown Wichita. There are lots of bars and restaurants in the area, as well as a beautiful train station and a new baseball field just up the road.
