Crystal Grottoes is the only show cave in the state of Maryland. It is on Maryland Route 34 between Boonsboro and Antietam National Battlefield.

The cave notably claims to have "more formations per square foot than any cave known to Man" and to be "the most naturally kept cave in the world." Its entrance was discovered while quarrying rock to build adjacent Highway 34.
