Berlin Wall.

Piece of the Berlin Wall

Under the WA-99 bridge, at the bottom of the hill below the Fremont Troll, in a small park next to a nice cafe, is a narrow chunk of the Berlin Wall placed there to commemorate the role of Boeing/Seattle in the 1948 Berlin Airlift.

[Kjfitz, 07/22/2019]

The Berlin Airlift took place a dozen years before the Berlin Wall was built, but, you know, close enough.
